Students at Lennox Middle School were given the opportunity to visit other classrooms to take notes on computer use and access in other rooms. This is the information they compiled.
Classroom Use of Computers
Our project is about how computers are used in classrooms and what students and teachers do with them.
The first classroom we saw had thirty-three computers that were located on long desks and none of the students had to wait to use the computers like a lot of kids do. The teacher was using all the computers to teach about fractions.
We went to another classroom where there were seven computers that were not being used. They were located on tables and all of them had Internet access. Then we went to another class that also had seven computers that were located all around the classroom. The teacher said that she used them to teach the class.
Now, we are going to talk about how we use computers in our own math class. We use them to do graphs and other kinds of projects for our grades.
As you can see, computers are important because they give us information about the future. We hope you enjoy reading this information.
